Flight recommendations:

I always fly Jetstar either overnight or morning flight and go direct if possible. I have friends who have flown Virgin too. Book what feels good. Others have done this through a travel agent

Please make sure you have flight and travel insurance - this is a MUST.

Passport and visa

Australians are automatically eligible for a Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) upon landing at Bali airport, which is valid for 30 days

Money: 

I normally take IDR money with me and also a mastercard or visa to get money out at ATMs, the exchange rate is really good! 

Getting to the accommodation:

Ubud is a 1-1.5hr drive from the airport, this can be organised in the month prior but good to know now. There is lots to look at on the drive and it's very beautiful! Go jek is an app to download now that can be used for cheap transport and there is now a gojek lounge at the airport. You can walk out of the airport, to the lounge and they will help you get a taxi.

Itinerary which is also subject to change as we make this the best experience for you in alignment with what's on in Bali (especially as they have ceremonies around moon cycles and more that can go for days and influence traffic and what's open). It sounds crazy, but things can change quickly - lucky I am very good at adapting!!

This will include each days action plan timed out so you can get very excited and start planning your packing list and more!

It will also include everything you need to know to prepare, a packing list, what’s on, when your free time is and all the juicy details of our excursions and workshops.

I have been to Bali and spent a lot of time in ubud and will be your ultimate wellness retreat guide and coach as we craft your dream life ahead.

Everything is organised for you.

As part of this retreat you have breakfast and dinner, a daily activity like yoga, sound healing and workshops plus all workbook materials to manifest, create and live your dream life beyond retreat!

There will be time during the day to have lunch solo or with new retreat friends or take yourself on a mini explore, shop or just lay low by the pool and relax before the arvo activities and connection!

We will be doing yoga each day in different styles and durations of time. This is so you can enjoy feeling into what feels good for you! The best part about a 5 day retreat is collecting your toolkit of selfceare that aligns with your body.

We will practice yoga most days at our accom shall space and I will take you to a beautiful class outside of the accom in a ubud . There will be time to explore other classes in ubud shall you wish to venture out!

The classes we do as a group are all levels - so don’t fret about your fitness level at all.

In the onboard form you will let me know about injuries and any health concerns to make your stay extra comfy.

Health:

• This is up to you to consult your doc or wholistic health practitioner

• I always take SB or normal probiotics a month prior

• And take charcoal tabs if need when away but you can get these over there if you experience the runs. Things like gastrostop etc are good to have on hand if you need, but consult your care provider for best support.

• You do not drink Bali water

• There are water stations in the accommodation and daily bottled water provided

• Brush your teeth with the bottled water not tap water

• Don’t drink pool water

• This is not something to fear, just be mindful of and act in alignment with the recommendations

If you want to extend your stay in Bali before or after, here is my recommendation

• Before retreat, I would stay near Kuta, Legian area and do some shopping here its busy OR do this at the end of your trip (if you want to) BUT many on retreat have stayed longer in ubud after and loved it!

• Ubud is a one hour drive from the airport and super easy only about $30-50 to get to via transfer or gojek which is an app you should download to help you book a taxi. If you are travelling around some taxis are only about $5-10!!!

• After retreat in ubud my fav spots in Bali are these:

• Uluwatu: we stay at blue point villa and spa, I do yoga at alchemy, yoga searcher  (you can also stay here) or the Istana which also has icebath and sauna with incredible views. A $10 gojek taxi from here to check out fabulous beaches Balangan, bingin which have the most incredible sunsets!

• Canggu: A hot spot we’ve stayed at Canggu Beach apartments, but there is heaps around and I would look for a spot near there as the main bit is where this is, get massages and facials, go shopping , enjoy beach clubs and beachfront action

• Kuta: we stayed last trip at mammaka Bali and it was a fab way to end the trip, I surfed the beach front and they have daily fitness classes: yoga, muathai etc and a gym with laundry service so you can go home with clean clothes and not have to wash after! It’s a quick trip to the airport too.

• If you have the late flight, most places will keep your bags for you and I always go get dinner, and then spend the time after in a day spa getting pampered! So then you’re ready for a relaxed trip home!

• Accor tip if booking elsewhere: use booking.com or Agoda, check reviews as some places have mould and also recommend something that does buffet breakfast for you, as it seriously saves $$ and is soooo relaxing!
